JOHN 8 : 30-36
As He spoke these words, many believed in Him.
Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, "If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants, and have never been in bondage to anyone. How can You say, 'You will be made free'?"
Jesus answered them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.

“Jesus is alive and reigns as King of the universe, and he offers real freedom to all of us.”
Our Lord, and our God, we bless you, and we love you
with all of our minds, heart, and soul.
Lord, open our eyes to your liberating truth, to yourself,
powerfully grant us to be set free from our bondage to sin.
Oh Jesus, set us free, so we may be free indeed
Bless our nation Lord so that we may be a witness to the world..
Thank you for the freedom that we enjoy in our daily lives.
We are thankful for those who paid the price for that freedom,
but even more important, we thank you for the freedom we have,
because Jesus was willing to pay the penalty for our sin.
In Jesus Name,
